Woah... a lot going on without a lot of news.

I'll keep it short because I'm not feeling so hot- I have another wonderful kitten baby- her name is Momo and we got her from the pound about a week ago... when we got her she had a bad cold that quickly got worse to the point where she had to stay with the vet for a few days. Buttons the wonder biting kitten is also sick, which means lots of vet and medication bills and sick kitties at hand.

So, in other words, we're really hoping we make the donation goal this month to help off-set all our vet bills and with only eight days (as of Monday), we're only half way there. So, we're adding in a few more incentives and introducing you all to some new features we've got for donators:

-If we make our $1000 goal, everyone who donated $10 or more will receive their 12 page bonus comic in full color (instead of black and white) and $50 donator's original drawings (of any ND Unlimited character of your choice) will be colored!

-This month's bonus comic over at namirdeiter.net (which we're running two of a week instead of just one) is another chapter to Grover Hills (chapter one is available on-line only at namirdeiter.net and will eventually be re released in color). This month we're taking a look into Halloween in the sleepy college town of Grover Hills in full color comic-book style page layouts!

-We've also added a brand new weekly feature called 'ND Talk', a weekly Internet show feature Terrence and Isabel Marks, where we answer reader questions plus anything else we have to babble about.

-We've added a ton (or at least 50-pounds worth) of new avatar dolls (including the main female cast of Namir Deiter), plus a brand new tag board (thanks to super-coder Terrence)!

-Not much of an incentive but every once in a while I add pictures of the super biting kitty duo, Momo and Buttons

Interested? Why not consider donating today and help keep me in kitty kibble!

We didn't make our donation goal this month, but we got close. We had two major hurricanes hit, and I know a good many of you donated to the Red Cross instead. You guys still came through and helped me out and it wouldn't be fair to act as if nothing happened.

Namir Deiter will go on a six day a week schedule (Monday-Saturday) instead of the original five. You Say it First will go four days a week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday - instead of three. We're going to update this weekend, though, mainly because the comics are already written.

Comic books for the donors will be sent out in about two weeks. NamirDeiter.net will have one comic and six sketches each week, and one wallpaper per comic this month (officially - I added five ND wallpapers and five miscellaneous wallpapers, but I only plan on adding one wallpaper each for You Say it First and Spare Parts. But I was planning on adding those bonus wallpapers whether or not we reached our goal). We will be adding some new features to the donor site later this month.

I just want to say thank you, guys, for supporting ND - I understand there was a lot going on and thank you all for all the help you gave me.

After re-reading the donation page...

The way we've had our donation bar/ thank you gifts wording was a bit unclear, so we're clarifying a few things...

First off, the thank you book will not be sent out to anyone until the $600 mark is met. If we do not reach that total by the end of the month, none of the thank-you books will be sent out. People who donate $50+ will receive at the least the specified $50 thank you gift (in this month's case, the original artwork).

Also, even if the $600 is met, only people who donate at least $10 will receive the book, (i.e. people who donated $1 through $9 would not receive the book). The original wording was a bit misleading due to trying to limit the amount of text on the donation bar image.

If you donated this month and do not agree with the above terms, please e-mail us with your username and the Paypal transaction ID number. Your account will be suspended and your money will be returned to you.

Truth be told, we will more than likely not reach our goal this month... it's completely understandable and truthfully there are many other people who need that money more than I do right now... Terrence and myself donated through his employer (who were doing a "we'll double any money you donate") and we greatly encourage you to help in any way you can.

It's been a... weird, last few months. To say the least. A few things going on around here...

First off, August's donation thank you items have been sent out- thank you to all the donators who donated for both your donation and patience. If I wasn't already to the breaking point, I'd make an extra something for you all... but, at the least, all the bonus comics are up and made up for. Please head over to namirdeiter.net for more information, including how to sign up!

Over at You Say it First Land, the comic I missed a few weeks ago is now on-line. Click here to view that comic and click here to start from the beginning of that story arc!

E-mails... oh boy, e-mails. When I get over-stressed and over-worked my e-mail replying suffers. Unfortunately ever since I started the bonus site, that has pretty much been how I am 24/7. Fortunately this weekend I was able to get a lot more done, although I still have so much left to do (both Namir Deiter and You Say it First need their character's pages updated and things like that), so my e-mail will continue to suffer.

At the least, Namir Deiter's archive page was updated last week, sorry for not mentioning it sooner.

Today's comic is called on account of Kitten. It may be up some time tomorrow afternoon. We're probably going to call him Dennis. We spent the day getting Kitten Supplies, and the evening playing with him, to get him used to being around us. And we spent about three or four hours just kind of looking at the kitten; "looking at a kitten" takes significantly more time and energy than we had anticipated. And we had to kitten-proof the room. Previously, our room was kitten-proof in the same way that a well-trapped dungeon is burglar-proof. It is now kitten-proof in an entirely opposite way. We cleared out the spike pits and roving orcs. There was 10 gold pieces and a mysterious longsword behind one of the couches, I think. Anyhow, we are, at the moment, poor in energy but rich in kitten. Therefore you get comic tomorrow or so.

First off, a slight update on the kitten front - good news is, yes, I will be getting a kitty in about two weeks (the cat still needs to be weaned). The bad news is that the cat still needs to be weaned so it'll be two weeks before I actually have a kitty (the other bad news is that I might be taking off on a trip that same weekend as I'm supposed to get the cat, so I have no idea what's going to happen).

Next off, I'd like to apologize for the wonky hours the comic has been keeping lately. I really don't like missing update times. For the past couple years I've been working very hard on not having this happen. Unfortunately, stress from coping with Terrence's unemployment combined with a really weird summer cold has got me to the point where I can't help it. That, coupled with the stress from trying to complete Tipporomatic (I've been feeling so bad that I haven't had the willpower to even touch the project) and work on new books has left me, quite frankly, a mess. Hopefully, getting a cat will help me relax, which is one of the reasons Terrence is letting me get one.

The comic will continue to update every day as promised, however, don't be surprised if we update the afternoon instead of at midnight. I will put up announcements if I'm going to be really late, which hopefully I won't have to do too often.

In related news, I will have a few art auctions up by the end of the week to help pay for both human and kitty food alike. Please stay tuned and thank you for all your patience through this very unbearable time.

Hi, folks! We have less than a week left in the month! We're more than halfway to our donation goal, and with your help we can get there. Unfortunately, your donations are our only source of income right now.

Also, we've got our big summer sale - there's a very nice discount on most of our comics, especially the ones that aren't available online any more. If you want to complete your ND Unlimited collection (or start one), this is a great time.
