Previous News07.19.2005 - Isabel Marks:The bad news is, I wasn't able to get the cast page finished yet... there are quite a few characters and research to be done.The good news is, I was able to get the archive updated, added three new linking buttons located on the links page (and retired the old ones) plus I updated all the pages so they'll match the main page. Hopefully it'll be done by next week.
In other news, You Say it First Book 3 is well underway and will be done soon (I'm using the bonus mini books from a few months back, as well as a few original pages of content which will make the job easier- unlike the Namir Deiter Book 2 book, where I'll have to virtually redo EVERYTHING for the book, from scratch.
Hopefully I'll have more news next week!
06.28.2005 - Isabel Marks:Next month we will not be upping the final total to $1500, but not because Terrence found a job... after much talk and consideration we decided that, quite frankly, every month the donation total is met a little uncomfortably close to the end of the month, and adding more to the total might discourage people from donating even before we get to the $800 or $1000 total instead of the $1500 mark if the total is a bit small and we're near the end of the month.So... what does that mean for all of you? Well, nothing will change, except next month's bonus book will be only 16 pages (it was going to be 20 if we added the extra $500- but at least it wasn't going to be 12 like this month's book was originally planned to be).
Speaking of this month's book... the four page bonus story is written, but due to being sick for most of the weekend, even writing was a chore.
I will continue doing the whole Sketch image days (when there are no comic updates on that day) for next month in the hopes of it brining new members in.

05.24.2005 - Isabel Marks:Anyway... we're almost to the end of the month and we're still quite a way from making our goal this month, if we make it, who knows... but let's see what the month will bring...We've added a new feature to Namirdeiter.net this weekend- a Mt. Morhobiki Interactive Map! Get to know a little bit about the places behind the world. The map is of course very new and ever changing... hopefully we will be able to add more to it soon, as well as other features!

05.15.2005 - Terrence Marks:Hi, folks. Firstly, We had a minor outage on Sunday. There was an infinite loop in the random banner display program we have here. The "keep checking until you find a comic that's supposed to run today" loop had about a 1/16 chance of becoming a "keep checking forever" loop due to a completely different typo in both of the sanity checks I had. I think it's the first program I've written that would only fail on a Sunday. Secondly, and more importantly, it's Isabel's birthday on the 27th.04.26.2005 - Isabel Marks:Sorry for the late news... it's been a busy week and its only Tuesday.Didn't mention it here because I was 1.) lazy and 2.)... I forgot to, but last weekend both Terrence and myself (yes, we both made our own separate comics) participated in 24 hour comic book day and actually managed to barely finish in time. Both the books are going to be available to next month's donators as a little thank you for all their help.
There will be a mini-report up for donators over at namirdeiter.net (sorry, but the donators get all the cool extra stuffs).
If you live in the U.S. and you sent your donation as of 04/25/05- your thank you items has been sent out! I will be sending out all those outside of the U.S. on the 27th, not the 26th... although everything will be postmarked for the day after they were sent out (two words- time travel).
I've got a few one-shot projects with really tiny due dates coming up, including the "normal" end of the month deadlines, plus I'm doing the first comic of the May 2005 Comixpedia Weekly Webcomic Jam, which I need to do super-soon (I'm hoping today but probably tomorrow).
04.12.2005 - Terrence Marks:The site was down over the weekend due to some issues with our host. We're still looking into it. If you're a namirdeiter.net member, you should have a three day extension to make up for it.We left APE early for a variety of reasons. We'd like to thank Luis, Sheila, Randy, and everybody who dropped by to see us. If you came by Sunday and missed us, we apologize. 04.08.2005 - Isabel Marks:We're off to APE in San Francisco this weekend!. If you're in the area, please come by and see us! Booth 306B!Don't forget about I-CON in Stony Brook, NY this weekend as well! We won't be there, of course- but there will be Namir Deiter Books plus other NDU titles for sale there!
All the on-line comics will continue to update without a hitch (as long as nothing breaks... *knocks on wood*) as well as the bonus commentary and Monday's namirdeiter.net comic- it will be in black and white (but would have been regardless).
Hopefully by Wednesday we'll have a convention report, if not the next week! -Isabel
